Anyone with similar setup's as Post #81 ?

I'm now in planning stages for redesigning my room and that is literally the perfect setup and would just love to see what others with something similar looks like.

I have a corner desk. The monitors are in a H configuration and the system unit is at the side of the desk.

Hi Willis,

Is that an Amstrad CPC6128? love it - my first computer in I think 1986. Played Elite to death on it. I still have it somewhere, but my monitor connection went faulty in the end.... everything was green and not intentionally!!

A few changes over the christmas period...new keyboard and mouse (MX800 Wireless Performance Bundle) Loving the keyboard as it is backlit, and both charge over usb, so no more faffing around with batteries.

A monitor upgrade. Gone is the 24" BenQ 1080p monitor and in comes a 27" Samsung 2560x1440p monitor. Need to get it set up properly. Unable to find any optimal settings for it as of yet. Any help in this area would be appreciated.

Loving the size and screen real estate! This monitor is the same size as my first HD TV. :eek:

Got rid of the old console shelf unit on the left as it was causing the heat to get trapped and cable management in it was a pain to say the least, and put up a shelf instead. Tidied up the cabling a bit, and got a banana stand for my headphones.

Planning on wall mounting the monitor this weekend so that I get some desk space back and getting a new mousepad when they are back in stock as the current one is showing it's age and is a bit frayed around the edges.

I rebuilt my 650D a few months ago, i'm probably going to change the case at some point this year to do a watercooling build.

I was thinking that, maybe he/she doesnt want people seeing whats on their screen when they enter the room

tis very stylish though, i wish i could be bothered keeping my house that tidy.

Thanks. I have it at an angle so I can use the desk as an armrest. And keep prying eyes away

. I would possibly have it square on if and when I get a 21 by 9 monitor.

Also I normally have the room a lot darker than in the pic. Have a flexible LEDs strip behind the monitor and the main light off. Under desk lamp on.
