draws

table top

The 2m x 960 and 2m x 620 are on offer atm (the last 2 month they have been), I went with the 960mm as I wanted more depth rather than losing it. gets delivered in a few days and you sand it down and then few rubs of oil. Ikea do table tops too if you just want to get it all at once. The legs are not needed really unless you do one side draws and one side legs, they also are from ikea for 2.50 each :).

Does anyone have a BEKANT Ikea desk? If so, do you know how much space there is (in cm or in) in between the legs and the edge of desk? I am just trying to find out how much space I will have for the computer tower and possibly a drawer unit underneath the desk.

I'm getting that desk tomorrow!!! :D:D:D

Sorry, a bit random... :D;)

Unless that CRT is recent then I'd hazard to say that the image quality won't be as good as an IPS LCD. CRTs age over the years and do not retain their crisp picture. LCDs do, though their CCFL backlights did fade, not as big an issue with LED backlit ones these days though.

Waspy what do you mean by plan. Its two Ikea draw unints with a work top on top of them as for the big draw you can only get them in store not online I believe.

I had that exact CRT years ago. The shop I purchased it from was quite a distance from the car park. I had to lug it back, the boxed monitor weighed something like 28 kilos!

Whats with the CRT wizzy :p

I play Quake a lot and this CRT, as well as my other VMPro454 are the best in the business! (for me anyway), I'm so used to playing on it and just can't get on with widescreen. Bought that monitor in the picture for 99p, I've also got a spare VMPro 452 laying about in its box.

I don't care much for IQ as I game at 800*600 in Quakelive and 640*480 in Quake 4 with all details turned down. Recently sold my BenQ on the MM. I'm going to be scaling down my rig also, as I just don't need the grunt and I don't play other games much at all. Thinking of going small :)

When I tried my iiyama the other year it felt like trying to game on a fishbowl I don't miss it other than the better level blacks.
I took it to the dump.
