Images over 1,280 pixels wide should be placed in spoiler tags as I've done for you.

Waiting for a couple more things to arrive EASY to finish off my desk then I will be reposting new pics. Cant use those headset pegs at the top as my 2 27" monitors get in the way but I have come up with away to sort that ;)

Love this desk...Loads of room, Beer holders...Hangers for headphones...Shelves... no wires.

:)

How are you hiding the wires? It have cable management or a diy jobbie? Am moving to a new flat in a couple of weeks and buying a new desk and chair. I had looked at the fredde before but worried it looked a bit too... Tacky/kids workstation. Your pics it looks okay, you rate it in person?

Was thinking of getting a wooden to from IKEA with a couple of their drawer stands to make a desk but may just go for the fredde.

Bought one of ebay for 4 quid.

I don't think it looks tacky...Its looks the nuts and everyone who has seen it has gone crackers on it.

Going to get a new desk tomorrow from Ikea, will be building it with the table top + legs that they offer.

The only problem about going this route is i don't have an option to store my PC tower, its either floor or on the desk. Anyone have a good idea for tower storage?

Mine has always just been on the floor under my desk

Ive just been browsing the net about the viewsonic vx910 and apparently there should be no ghosting, but mine ghost badly. Even when you move the mouse cursor or scroll a web page it blurrs?

well i finally sorted my desk out..has i hated my previous one

i hated it coz it was just cheap and light linnmon ikea top and ullrik unit..it moved loads on my wood flooring thus marking my walls..my creative speakers kept on falling over,
sometimes down the back of the desk.and after a couple of months i noticed the surface was starting to come off..the ullrik unit was poor too

its all from ikea again :D

I looked into this at ikea today but it seems the gerton needs some extra work doing to it as its literally a plain piece of wood? What did you have to do to the gerton since buying it before turning it into a desktop (e.g. sanding/wax/varnish/stain etc)? Was it a long process? I am really not very handy so little worried about messing with it myself, but i really love the look of the setups people are making with the drawers and separate tops.
