Oh, i'm on Wink2 SP4, is that a problem? Most themes seemed to be designed for Win XP.

unfortunatly it is a problem cuz all the themes i use are designed for windows xp. it may be possible to port them to win2k or even find a win2k version but im not sure where you would get them or how you would port them.

I've spent the past two days browsing this ENTIRE thread... It's taken a while but here I am. And some of the things people have posted here have been awesome, truly impressive (uberskilled is well into the foreground here:p ).

Now, for the life of me I can't remember where, but I seem to recall someone who had the mmd3 skin for Winamp on the desktop.. The thing that caught my eye though was the fact that the main bar wasn't visible and all I could find was the minimised playlist window...
This was sooo cool but for the life of me I can't seem to be able to do it... Is it actually possible or was I just seeing things?

A lil' thing that i don't actually think is possible, but... Can one run Winamp and not have it appear as a long bar in the taskbar?

You mean like say when the CD-RW is empty, no desktop icon, but when one's put in the icon appears, like on the Mac? :)

If so, I'm interested.

Also, m00ch0, can i ask where/how you got your really cool desktop icons?

I really want a nice new taskbar aswell. The win2k one is so dull.

Its not a theme as such. I did the samurize stuff myself using different scripts, and changed the icons using Icon Packager.

Just let me know know what you want and i'll see what i can do :)
 
not many responses on the automount....you all get stumped? or did it work flawlessly. does anyone want me to prepare a skeleton ini file that you can just tweak to your own hardware?

You can get the skeleton Automount config Here

Instructions on how to make it work are included in the zip file and ive also put in two icons (one CD and one DVD)

As ever let me know if you get stuck!
 
well here's an uptodate one of mine then, spent awhile editing it to fit a little of the weather script.

it still stays green aswell :D

how you get it to display in C not F? i tried putting Metric instead of English but it still came up as F.(tempreture)
