Desktops!!

which version do you want? The original or the one I customized for samurize? Ive cheated cos those icons are actually the wallpaper :)
 
My desktop's really boring because I like to keep it clean with no icons lying about, so I'll post a pic of my desktop with the program menu showing.....just for the nosey folks who like to see what everyone else has installed on their PC. ;)

After reinstalling my system I thought I would get back into some Samurize after discovering a nice WindowsBlinds theme. Also trying out ObjectDock, which after a bit of tweaking is pretty good.

Still not happy with the icons on the ObjectDock, but cant find a decent enough set for all of the icons, so I guess it will have to stay as it is.

Unix is not a viable desktop OS because it's not intended for that. Most of the Linux distros I've played with have had strong dislikes of the nforce 2 - it is, after all, fairly new kit.
Well if OS X is so annoying, why are you running it's incredbly close relative on your machines?
That was (I think) the point to all this ;)

What original statement?
Saying that, what is the point of all this, I've lost track :p

It wasn't, and any requirement for workarounds indicates it still isn't :p

The only reason it ever worked was because there were folks working on it to make it work - if no one worked to make Unix work on whatever hardware you want to use, it wouldn't work on it, and then you would thus consider it unviable :)

OS X is based on a darwin core, linux/unix is not based on OS X :p

Anyway, this has nothing to do with the original purpose, and more to do with the roots and direction of Unix/Linux/BSD - not without what I detect as a hint of anti-Mac-ism ;)

The theme is called "RhodiumX" available Here

The wallpaper.. cant remember where I got it from, but if you need it I can upload it :)
