Ignore the two PDF documents and the Half-Life 2 directory, they arn't normally there.

Also I believe that 800*600 is the maximum allowed size for pictures like this on the forums :)
 
if youve just replaced them by copying the new files into system32 it wont work. you have to replace them in the i386 folder and the ddlcache folder. its quite tedious so i have another solution for you :)

make sure you have just the visual style working and then forget about the system files.

then go to this link and download and install this in safe mode

Indyskyz or Uberskilled. I have the LH Visual theme add on installed, :) Tried looking for the readme any idea how u change the themes m8?

got a rather dodgy blue one :) Can't see any others wihtin the desktop properties under themes

ok unzip your theme to C:\WINDOWS\Resources\themes

that should work aslong as theres a valid shel file in ther then you can choose your theme from display properties/aperance

or go download tgt-soft's StyleXp HERE

this programe will do it all for you

With the windows logo instead of "Start" is that part of the Longhorn Visual theme or an additional theme you have installed?
