I'm level 4 so pretty much in the same boat as you, when you hit level 4 you'll be able to do Bounties, which is what those guys are probably doing. Feel free to add me as a friend (PSN - Japheth105) if you fancy doing some low level fire team stuff. I should be online tonight.

One thing I found out last night is that there's a Fireteam Privacy setting which is set by default to Friends Only. For a Billy No Mates like me that's not much use so I've set it to public.

Edit: I was also getting confused as to how other players were waving or pointing at me, I had to Google the solution: http://uk.ign.com/wikis/destiny/Emotes Once again I think this should have been explained in a manual that should have come with the game.

Definitely interested in a potential raid group soon if people are up for it. I've not attempted it yet but hit level 26 today.
 
This is annoying I can barely get a single mp game finished before I lose connection with the Destiny servers. Is anyone else having problems? I have opened the ports that Destiny guide tells me to.
 
I enjoy this game more in fireteams. I have missions on Venus to complete and then mars, I'm going to be back on tomorrow eve as I'm not able to get on ps4 this evening... if I'm on your friends list then please just join my fire team or invite me as I want to complete the story...

seems odd they didn't include match making for story missions.. should be able to search of match up like strike missions...

I did try joining you last night, but the Join option just said you were matchmaking so it wouldn't let me. Will look out for you tomorrow though.

I think the social side of Destiny is definitely the thing that needs work on the most.
