Because most of the pokemon we saw have fur, it just doesn't translate as easily into games/cartoons.

Pokemon do have fur I get that but in the ones shown it looks so over the top

I know some people say Ryan Reynolds is the wrong voice for this, but for me it's a huge selling point!

I was too old when the Pokemon phenomenon exploded over here, but this looks like it could be a good laugh.

Not a fan of Reynolds, he's one of those actors that even in interviews seems to be over exaggerating his persona to make him seem really off the wall. Reminds me vaguely of Bill Murray when he's being interviewed, half the time he seems like he's playing a part when doing an interview.

My daughter wants to see this. I was too old to be caught up in the hype when Pokemon was a big thing first time round, and have never played any of the games so it'll be an experience anyway
