Deus Ex: Revision

Yeah I got lost a few times, I had to use ghost mode to find the way out of the catacombs, damn that was hidden!! I had a few problems in the Ocean Base too, a few doors I couldn't see a way to open and then there was a switch hidden amongst the cosmetic panels that was really hard to spot. Also right at the end where you have the giant spider bot there is an elevator that you call down in the original game but I couldn't find any way to call it in the revision (the button doesn't work) Had to cheat there too. Overall though a great project and wonderful to play it through again.

My vision is augmented.

You basically had the exact same issues as me :p

Though I did not cheat, but did have to ask on the steam forum about the hidden switch at the ocean base, spent over an hour, drove me nuts. Lol. What silly way to blend in the keypad.

Oh and did anyone find the hidden crypt under the church to find the ancient sword? I got stuck there too, another hidden switch scenario. The mod team sure enjoyed hiding buttons, bad move, only thing I felt I could fault them on though.

Surprised not more people here not playing revision.

Yep I got stuck there too, glad I'm not going crazy :D Spent about 20 mins trying to find a way out of those 2 rooms! Guess that bit maybe isn't finished yet.

I spent longer... :o:rolleyes::D

Funny thing was it got so frustrating that I was like all this for this silly sword? The sword is same specs the dragons tooth anyway, just takes 1 less slot. But I got rid of it as I preferred dragons tooth. Looks more cool and swings faster :)

Hope someone can help. I needed to reinstall Windows 7 due to issues with 10, so before performing a fresh installation I made a copy of my game saves, but after I added them back I couldn't see any record of them when in game.

Besides, I'd have thought that like with FO4, Steam syncronization would have provided me with my saves anyway?

Edit : sorted! :)

Did anyone get stuttering with their game? I don't know why it has suddenly started to do this. It was fine until I reinstalled it after a fresh installation of Windows 7 (had too many issues with Win 10).

Things I've tried :

Making it run on just one CPU core;
Changing the polling rate in Afterburner;
Trying a different renderer - OpenGL worked, though there was graphical anomalies in the game / fps drops;
Generally tinkering with settings in game menu.
