The Guardian and other sources are indicating that Series 4 of Arrested Development has now started shooting. The oft-rumoured film is also apparently going ahead on the back of these 10 episodes.

To say I am excited is a huge understatement. If the writers can keep it even half as fresh and funny as the original series then it'll wipe the floor with 99% of the comedy shows currently on TV.

OH COME ON!

I've started following Jason Bateman and he's been taking pictures from the set
In one of the pictures the guys from Workaholics are there as well!

Workaholics is just as good as AD. (So is Parks & Recs)

Season 3 wasn't as good as the other two, imo. Quality needs to return to original form, but no doubt I'll be watching anyway.

Most of series 1 and a 3rd of series 2 were funny. The rest was pap. It should be left as it was, it had run out of steam way before series 3.

Of course I will watch it as I watched the rest, hopefully it will be great but I can't see it. :(

Season 3 was the result of a concentrated attempt by the writers to widen the audience for the show, only to find out quite early on that it was getting cancelled mid run, subsequently resulting in the order for the show being halved.

Season 3 is weaker than the first two but to argue it became bad is nonsense. Season 4 will be good, I have faith in Hurwitz and the cast.

I only just got started on AD, and I LOVE it!

However I hated Workaholics, and found P&R pretty meh.

This series was legendary, especially Gob and his "illusions" and cheesy music. And the younger brother, I forgot his name - he always spoke so nervously and kept trying to give people neck rubs (until the seal bit his hand off!). And every time his uncle started implying he was actually his dad, it would play some sad (hilarious) music. :D

Edit: Oh yeah, and if you like this you should watch It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - it's also about some pretty unlikeable/selfish but funny characters and has some wacky plots.

Meh, as with all shows it did taper off, and most importantly, comedy writers almost always run out of idea's and get stale, same guys years later is a recipe for.... maybe not diaster, but probably disappointment. I'd seriously love it if it came back at its best but its more likely to be the worst series and tarnish the show more than make it good.

HOping for the best, expecting the worst so won't be disappointed even if it sucks, if its great, woo hoo.

Workaholics is absolutely tremendous! It's just SO funny

P&R season 1 was pretty average, it picks up a lot in season 2 and so on

The 1st series of parks and rec is terrible, my friend had to force me to watch the 2nd series were thankfully it picked up.
