Device to Alert Mum at night if Child needs her

I'm struggling to find something online, not sure what to call it when searching.

I would like a device that my 5 yr old can press to alert her mum in the other room in the middle of the night if she needs something (usually a cuddle or her socks taking off)

The reason she needs this as the mother of my child lives in a one floor apartment with a cat that is old and meows all night so she would like to wear ear plugs so usually my daughter would shout out but she's worried she wont hear her obviously if she has these in.

Is there a device that will vibrate on mums wrist or something to alert her if pressed by my daughter.

My ex is not getting any sleep at the moment and this is not good for anyone.
 
I can't think of a product that might do this, but from a smart home perspective this is something really easy to do.

You'd essentially have a button (more likely to be zigbee due to low power battery requirement), and an automation that triggers when pressed to action an event.

The event could be anything like sending a notification to your phone, or watch, or triggering an alarm, or switching on a light (if lights are smart) or radio, possibilities are endless.
 
Either a doorbell, I got a Tuyo button/pendant (sounds an alarm on my mobile) when I needed something similar for my dad (I needed something that would work for him in the house, but alert me outside it), or possibly something like a Tapo button that could be set to turn a light on and play a sound on a mobile/receiver? (although that would likely be about £50 all in).
