Yeah - I've dived into a few shows including this before fully thinking about they are on weekly drip and it is not good for the viewing experience. I need to stick to what I've been increasingly doing of only subscribing periodically to catch up.

the Miami and New york connection and also, the 'Lunch'. I admit, when we see the 'Dark Passenger' first enter the taxi I initially thought it was Dexter. only after hearing his voice I realised it wasn't, and using that 'look-a-like' was a plot point.
Yes i thought that too, from the angle it did look like him.
Didnt they say he somehow got exonerated from both Miami and upstate NY when he left hence why Angel wanted to talk to him. His old ex gf from upstate also said she was mistaken and blamed everything in New Blood on Kurt'?

Glad to read this. Have been thinking about picking this show back up again to see if they could pull the finale back out of the depths.

I’m convinced he’ll end up taking the fall for his son and that’ll be the end with him in prison / death row.
I hope not they tried something similar with new blood and there was a big negative backlash in the way that ended. Hopefully they have learnt from that.

I gotta say the cast in this season is pretty spectacular. The “Group” are mostly pretty well known actors/actresses. Must have had a decent amount of money thrown into this season so I expect they are looking to do more with the characters.
I'm mostly enjoying the season so far, still find the son a bit so-so but there's not so much focus on him.
Slightly undecided regarding the overarching plot for the serial killers, seems to be verging a bit too much into horror-comedy but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I'll keep watching, it's cool seeing some of the old cast and I'm enjoying a few of the newer members. I really like the new female detective with the hyper-focus vibe, reminds me of Willem Dafoe's character from The Boondock Saints.

I wasn't sure on the detective at first. Seemed to 'silly'? as the episodes she was in went on, I quite liked her. Reminds me of Dexter in a way. Very thorough in her actions
Yeah, I was a little iffy the first time I saw her but she really grew on me. I'd say she's actually got spin off potential if done right, that mad energy could be interesting to see.
Seems to be borrowing a bit from Boondock Saints with the detective.
