I got the first book for Christmas and loved it. Just read the second and third last week. Second was good but third one was not. There are fourth and fifth books which I am told (well looking at Amazon reviews) are better than the third, will get round to them.

I'm the same. Read the first three and been saving the last two for me holiday in April. Third one was a little far fetched and the ending was disappointing...

I watched seasons 1 and 2 in the space of about 3 weeks, it took over 4 months to get through season 3. It was just so dull, I can't put my finger on it, it just didn't work.

However season 4 more than made up for 3's shortcomings...season 4 has to be my favorite of the lot.

I'm the same as most people it appears, me and the gf watched the 5 series in the space of about a month, and have really enjoyed them.
Series 3 wasn't up to the standard of the others, but still watchable.

Misuka is great, but Dexter's sister steals the show for me.... she just seems to get all the best one-liners!

Just finished 5, it took til episode 5-6 to get going but then was great.

Took me a while to recognise who Jordan Chase was, then i realised it was Sick Boy from trainspotting

John Lithgow as a baddy will never be reached again in terms of brilliance, best season by a country mile.

Yeah, I'm plus onenining that.

S4 was my favourite by quite a bit. They are all good, don't get me wrong, but 4 was epic. Lithgow was superb.

Sorry for the bump, but it's the most recent thread on this. Just finished Season 5 and I'm gutted it's over... I only started watching it around Christmas time and I watched the last two seasons in the last two weeks :/ Season 4 was just incredible. I was told it would be, but wow. Such a surprise ending. Season 5 was pretty awesome, too.

I now need something else to fill my final two weeks off work :/

Just had a butchers on Amazon (Play didn't have it) and you can get the Blu Ray US import but there were also a couple of 'region free' ones ?

Thanks, I'll see if I can get some region free ones, I do have series 1 on DVD but as I'm planning to watch them again from the beginning I'd rather watch them in HD if possible.
