Out of all the managers that were in line to be sacked this year, RDM was nowhere near the top of it, IMO. To me, Roman is treating Chelski like a management game and is playing it exactly as I play Championship manager - one loss against someone that you shouldn't lose against and then hit the reset button and start again

The difference is barca do the other things right. The have the best youth set up in Europe and a good football philosophy and club ethos. It also wasn't long ago they weren't the force that are now but they persevered and built upon what they had. The Chelsea squad is poor for the money they've spent with a revolving door transfer/manager policy being the main main culprit.
Apart from the "he only won 2 things on penalties" comment, the rest is pretty spot on tbh. I don't think he's the right man for Chelsea at all

The interaction between Benitez and Terry is going to be amazing.
Are there any other managers that have been so hated before they even start their new job? I'm struggling to think of many but I'm sure there must be a few. Alex Mcleish was extremely unpopular going to Aston Villa, Leeds Utd fans hated Dennis Wise (predictably so given the Leeds/Chelsea history and most people not liking Wise anyway.)
I don't think you'll see Terry on the touchline shouting instructions onto the pitch while Benitez is there.
I'm looking forward to the day he leaves Lampard out of the starting 11 and loses to a goal conceded from a corner while using zonal marking. I think Redknapp might have a fit in the Sky studio.

Spurs and AVB should be happy with Rafa's appointment. The media will ignore him now and carry on with their abuse of the 'fat spanish waiter', words I've seen in a few rags this morning (Is that not racist though? Or just purely xenophobic?).
Its going to be a car crash of the highest order.
Arrogant, self opinionated, self important, control freak manager, arrogant, ignorant, spoilt players who think they are bigger than the club and who do pretty much what they want.
And an idiot owner who lets the players get away with it and fails to back the manager in any situation and foists players on the manager that are picked purely by how much hype they have surrounding them at the time and not by what effect they will have on the squad.
Its going to be beautiful.

If you're that way inclined. A paper couldn't print that though because it opens up the door for libel cases as it's very hard to prove someone is drunk whereas I think we can all agree that Benitez is fat.
