Diablo 3 (Console versions)

Top end gems are pricey to make and when you reroll stats on an item its gets more and more expensive.

Also auction house has never been on console ;)

Yeah I know it was never on console. But that was the main thing I spent my gold on the PC.

Yeah, they really screwed up the gold system... items and item crafting are ridiculously cheap. Gold is essentially only useful in Act 1, then it becomes completely arbitrary.

They should have increased item prices to compensate for increased gold levels in later Acts, and made crafting good items much more expensive.

wrong.
save all your gold. once you reach lvl 60 and you start rerolling stuff it gets expensive. just spent my last 20mil gold the other day rerolling my quiver, still didn't get what I wanted. :(
 
I'm 21 Witch Doctor. Not reading up on guides for builds, prefer jsut fiddling myself and seeing what I enjoy. Generally I like the triple blowpipe and the AOE slow down attacks. Not a fan of the spider jars at all or frogs.

Greta, so gold is useless until Level 60. Kind of proves my point.

So just had the first idiot in my game with a modded weapon. 9000 damage, 3 gemmed level 60 sword wielded by a Witch Doctor, nuked everything in sight playing on Torment 2. Why did blizzard not check saves before allowing people to migrate from PS3/360. :(

as stated earlier in the thread, the cheapest way to get this game is from the US playstation store. :p or trade some games in at a local store.

yeah, i'd say so. i've sunk more than enough hours into this game to justify the cash i paid for it, for sure! i haven't had that urge to want to play a game like i want to play this, in a long time.
 
Yeah I go through phases but ultimately there are far more interesting games to play. Seems like most my friends list are all max level and too far ahead as they had previous saves :(
