Diablo 3 (Console versions)

is it just me or are the RoS UEE enemys a bit smarter?

i was leveling a friend and an elite seperated us soooo far away that he went down lol, this game is awesome, on any platform :)
 
Need to start playing this more! been leveling with the other half and she has been enjoying it altho taking things slow and theres me having spent hours on the PC version wanting to skip everything and blast though it all lol

Jesus... please tell me this game gets a lot better in multiplayer and in Adventure mode.

Am now on the last leg of Act 5, and whie Acts 1-3 were good and interesting, Act 4 and 5 are just a slogfest of repetitive levels, and the story went sharply downhill after Diablo died. They should have stuck with the angels vs demons thing but expanded it a little more, as it's just lame now with this angel of death thing.

On top of this, the bosses are all ridiculously easy... I am playing on Expert with Wizard and it's VERY rare that anything either gets near me, or troubles me enough to need more than one or two health potions. I just feel hugely overpowered.

Asmodan was a mild challenge, but all the rest since such as Diablo, and the angel Uzuriel were a piece of pee. As soon as a game becomes that easy then the fun stops pretty quickly, and now 99% of items I collect are useless.

Really hoping it perks up when I get into the multiplayer etc.
 
Apologies for any Nemeses, got creamed in a Nephalem rift. Just so many bloody flying insects my spike traps just couldn't slow them down.

Oh god. Does that mean I'm about to get creamed. Lol

Finding this game different to the PC version. Only just done the skeleton king and got 3 legendarys already.
 
I really don't understand the big numbers on the gear lol and now just look at the attack, defence on the character to find out if something is good

Also, with dual wielding, how can you tell if it will be better than just a bow? other than by ding what i said i do above lol

One last thing lol in adventure mode, how often do the bounties change/reset?
 
We went through the secret Whimsyshire level at the weekend where you make the staff of herding and head to fluffly cloud rainbow pony land!

Have to say - what a let down. Getting the items for it is quite a challenge as they can be very rare drops. We got lucky really it only took an hour or so.
But the level itself was worthless. Crap XP, crap loot....
 
Whimsyshire is great but I don't think they made any changes when Reaper of Souls came out other than the Whimsyshire mobs appearing in rifts occasionally.

I've been trying to farm the items to make the staff again but the gemstone has a ridiculous drop rate these days. Killed the mob about 40-45 times and have only got junk so far - at least the xp is decent, it is a good way to level another character.
 
This ultimate edition worth getting ? I played the original on my pc although I dint get to far . wouldn't mind playing the reaper of souls too , is it better playing with a pad ? And do you need to have ps plus to play ?
 
Are you meant to get good Loot or anything in there?
In D2 you got loads of XP for the cow level but in a run through this one I didn't even see the bar move at all for Paragon level - only on Expert but still.

Level was tiny too - only took about 90 seconds to explore it all.

If I'd actually had to spend a lot of time farming the items I'd have been quite annoyed!
 
Enjoying the reaper of souls chapter soo far! Seems to have more random events while you explore etc than what the base game has!

Bumped it up to master now too and thats got a good balance for me now i think! Things take longer to take down but i like that!

So whats the aim of adventure mode? To level up to take on the higher torments etc?

Paragon levelling and more chance of high level gears / sets.

Is anyone levelling up real quick then suddenly hit a plateau?

Missus and I made a new character, started on master as we had a fair few paragon points to help, along with big gems from our previous epic characters.

Chapter one and we ramped from Master to Torment 2 after Skeleton king. Hit Level 41 by Chapter 2 and it's gone slower to level now. Might have to ramp up again.

By the way, a big ruby on weapon just nukes everything in Chapter 1.

Yeah I'm levelling a new character at the moment, I'm paragon 148 so hit the difficulty up and did about 30 lvls in an hour or so. Paragon levelling has slowed a little though but hope to move onto torment 4 shortly which will help that.
