Looks about 37 which includes ones given with 6/12mth subs.
Then there’s collectors edition expac ones and miscellaneous promotions. So majority are in game.

37 out of a 1000 isnt too bad, though paid cosmetics is still somewhat of a cheek for a game that has a monthly sub but Blizzard will be Blizzard and they do it so very well.
 
I think my age and having kids has ruined d4 and others like PoE2...

I just can't get into them. Lack of time due to life and kids. And when I do get a couple hours to myself, I find myself asleep after an hour.

Dunno... I miss being younger and having no responsibility. Could play D2 for 10 hour stints lol.

Dont worry, it all goes full circle and you end up with more time for gaming than you ever had. You reach a point where all your kids have grown up, left home, gone off to live somewhere else in the country/world and are raising their own family and in combination with that, you arent out partying or living it up yourself anymore in the way you did when you were young and pre-family/kids, so you now have tons and tons of time to game :)

And as a gamer, its glorious ! I've enjoyed my post kids gaming years with much more verve and time than I ever had before !

I assume its the same and I can just play without having to participate in the Season's?

I logged in and it says my total paragon level is 84 (0 hardcore). 4800 coins too which is odd as I really can't imagine I ever purchased them, maybe got it with the original purchase of the game.

Did you ever complete the main story / campaign ? Even if you have, you'll still have the campaign from both expansions to tackle. Beyond that you don't have to engage with seasonal play, you can opt to play on the "eternal" realm which is distinct from any of the seasons & related mechanics.

Coins are an in-game currency. You can sometimes earn extra from completing battle passes ( even the basic free one ) and people who pre-ordered the expansions and/or premium game at launch received extra coins.

Yeah deffo finished the original story. When I booted it up it did a recap of it and then to as cutscene of one of the characters on a boat meeting Mephiston again, so assume that's the first expac kicking in.

If I create a new character it suggests I start with the vessel of hatred campaign, however as I'm in no rush I might just make a new character and start from the OG.

The OG campaign is decent but the VoH one was dire. Hopefully this coming expansion's campaign will be a step up in quality. But you should play through all the campaigns at least once to unlock all the various systems.
