Usually better off salvaging it all, as you need a lot of materials to craft better gear in the late game.

I used to enjoy playing diablo games many years ago for the single player story experience, is it still worth playing for that or is it now endless running of instances over and over to get anywhere?

Story is very lame, imo. I wouldn't recommend buying it for that reason.

D2 was the best now is all different.

I think there is often very rose tinted glasses for d2. I enjoyed it a lot back in the day, but it wouldn’t hold up well now imo.

I think d4 is overall pretty good fun and I go back to it each season for a play. I particularly enjoy that I can do couch coop with my son as it’s a game he enjoys too and that’s probably what I can enjoy the most about it

It does, have you played any other of the Diablo games?

I wanted WASD so much but when I went to use it I could not get used to it as I was so used to the original movement style and ended up switching back

I haven’t, but dipped my toe into POE2 and Last Epoch and loved them.

Using WASD I preferred but will see how this goes, looks good, and at £35 for D4 + expansion.

I played a lot of D3 and D4 never had WASD to start with until later on in its release.

You maybe fine with it as you didn't play the other games and not used to how the movement used to be as it never used WASD.
