** Diablo 5 **

I got burnt with D4, I will not be pre ordering or even buying after release for a awhile and to be honest I am not sure if I ever will.

The cost of the DLC is most likely going to be the same or higher by release time and I was not too happy paying for the first DLC of D4.

Its a shame as I really enjoyed D3 but D4 just was not the same.

D5 is 3 years away, you never know, you might have changed your mind in 3 years and buy it at release, its a long time. There are most likely things that 3 years ago I said I wouldnt do but then did 3 years later. :)

Very true, I still have not got the last DLC for D4 and god knows how many there will be in 3 years time lol.
 
Apparently D5 will be a procedurally generated world like Diablo 1 and 2. And will launch with something like 15 classes

I'm sure I'll be there, I still play the D4 seasons as they are low-effort filler between PoE leagues and I do quite like the simplicity of it. Last Epoch and Grim Dawn (and TQ2 in fact) have never quite hit the mark for me. The fact D5 has Demon Hunter as a class is a huge plus, by far my most played class in D3. If they can replicate something like UE Multishot I'll be all over it!
 
DH was my main class I used in D3 as well and quite liked it.

I may give D4 another go once the last expansion is cheap and see how much it’s changed as I’ve not played for sometime now.

I hope they bring back the ability for multiplayer or match making as that was 1 thing I missed from D3 to D4 as all dungeons were ran solo unless you had friends and teamed up
 
Feels like they've basically just given D4 a death sentence here. I know it's still over 2 years away but a D5 announcement just makes D4 feel like the middle child nobody cares about.
 
I'll give it a go but just because it'll be on game pass, I enjoyed D2, spent far far to many hours on D3 but never really got into D4, played a few seasons but it never really hooked me like 3.

Wouldn’t that be 3? II is still popular with the resurrected version.
