Placed an order for 12 Grand Prix jobbies @ Longacres, arrived this morning about 9.30. I'm at home ill but she brought them home at lunchtime and they don't look too shabby.

In Japan it's customary for women to buy guys chocolate on Valentines. They have a 'white' day for the favour to be returned. They don't like it tho apparently.

Just got back from town, 5 bunches of Daffodils for a fiver.

other half is a florist so knows what the markup is for roses and will not let me buy them.

Do any blokes actually like Valentines day or should it be renamed "Better get her something Day"?

I dunno what the big fuss is about. My OH knows he doesn't have to get me anything and there wouldn't be a problem. Seriously, I mean it! He buys me flowers every week anyway, so it's not that different. Still if he wants to buy me stuff I'm not going to say 'Hello gift horse, open your mouth so I can look in it'.
