Did your flowers arrive?

The day I get flowers is the day that I know he's having an affair :p

That reminds me of something happened to one of my best mate.

We were 17/18, my friend was going out with her first ever proper girlfriend. To cut a long story short, they love each other, they were young, blah blah blah. One day she had an car accident and was in the hospital, she wasn't seriously injured but she was kept under observation over night. So my friend, tried to be a nice guy, doing the right thing. (I bet you can see where this is going) Goes an buy some flowers and visit her at the hospital. The girlfriend then accuse him of cheating on him..... My friend was thinking, What on earth is she on about ?????????

Ever since then he has never ever bought a girl flowers, he been with about 25 girls since then and had about 3 serious relationships. And still have not bought any girls since flowers. Not on valentines day, not on their Birthday, not to cheer them up when they are down, not once since, and he says he never will. One time, on on of his ex's Birthday he got her a some booze from the off licence (romantic huh?).

Do you know the ironic thing? The ex-gf that accuse him of cheating on her ended up in the end cheat on him with some guy and he dumped her.

As a spur of the moment thing, i went and surprised someone with a rose my flatmate gave me from her bunch of flowers. With a home-made card + romantic gesture of walking uphill, in the pouring rain + wind, things turned out quite well :D

I said i'd make it up to her tomorrow though ;)

Mrs Monkey69 was very happy with her 36 red roses, delivered 12 at a time throughout the day. (Forward planning!)

Needless to say, because she was happy, so am I :)

Even if you bunches of flowers only cost £1 I still spent less on one day than you did in a year ;)

I guess you dont celebrate her birthday, anniversery or xmas either?
I don't think you quite get it, do you?

Edit; I didn't buy my girlfriend flowers. Or anything, in fact. But we are going out for cocktails + a nice meal tonight instead.

Edit2; I did text her in the morning to say Happy VD!
