Difference between two Maxtor drives?

I'm looking to get a 500Gb Maxtor drive, but I'm unsure what the difference is between:

1) Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 11 500GB @ £160.92
2) Maxtor Maxline Pro 500 500GB @ £164.50

No real difference in price, but how do the drives differ in operation? Both are available here: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Maxtor_SATA.html

Also, I take is Maxtor is a good choice of harddrive?

Actually, forget what I said - I was looking a WD drives and there's only one to choose from: the Caviar SE16 500GB. For some reason I got into my mind that it was Maxtor (probably because I have a Maxtor), but now I know what to get.
