Differences in SSD?

The M550 has an extra 64gb and is slightly faster, i got a 128gb M550 a few weeks ago to put in a win 8 laptop and it's superb.

theres a cashback deal on atm with Samsung I think

crucial are good but the evo's are quicker on paper,just depends on your budget I suppose
 
just to add i think the m500 480 + 960 drives have a bit of a speed boost over the smaller versions

I have the 1tb one myself and it flies like any other recent gen ssd
