Mod teams are compromised of likeminded people, people that like games. They are not employed in the gaming industry, they have daily jobs and work on mods after their shifts/weekends.

Whereas dev teams work 5 days, soemtimes 6-7 a week solidly on a game.

Oh please

LOL, Hamachi, you can do that with virtually any pirate MP game that supports LAN play, it doesn't let you play online in the same sense everyone else is.

i wish they could compromise

im sure if they really wanted to they could give us dedicated servers and find a way to block mods and custom maps so we still need to buy the stupid DLC

id take that

"Our gamers are telling us there's lots of services and innovation they would like to see that they're not getting yet. From what we see so far, additional content, as well as all the services Blizzard is offering, is that there is demand from the core gamers to pay up for that," Tipple explained.

From what we see so far, additional content

Well a single player campaign longer than five hours would be nice...

as well as all the services Blizzard is offering

Server provided for the game they made or character building elements?

there is demand from the core gamers to pay up for that

Oh please just **** off and die in a corner somewhere.

Why would anyone want to to that when they can play other shooters for free?
Looks like all games will be going this way in the future it's all about money. I also read that Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising will have no dedicated server support even though its printed on the back of the retail box. :(
