Shame on you Amazon? For deleting 'reviews' of a product before it's even out? sure. I've no idea why they don't just close proucts to review until they are released.
 
Amazon have done nothing wrong, you cannot 'review' a product until you've used it. It's pretty ridiculous to get mad about them maintaining the validity of their review section.

The Spore reviews were posted after release.
 
That's a very fair point. However, removing any discussions which were overly-critical of the announced features isn't in the same vein. They can justify removing reviews placed before a game is released - though they won't do it for games with overall positive reviews - but discussing the upcoming game isn't covered by that.
 
Canx the pre order I made back in July for £25, think I'm going to play L4D2 and Torchlight. Although its a game I might get in time when the price drops.
 
I find it somewhat funny that people are holding DICE up as the saviours of PC gaming, lest we forget with BF2 you had to buy a dedicated server with one of their "partners" (i.e. pay over the odds) otherwise your server wouldn't contribute to ranked stats, and they're doing the same thing with Bad Company 2, etc.

Thats hardly a new point though is it. This has been going on for every Valve game for about the last 5 years!

Id take a locked to Steam game over one with Punkbuster in it any day!

Things are looking very bleak, not too dissappointed about the lack of dedicated servers as there's others games I'm playing online atm, but was hoping to pick this up second hand later down the line for the SP for a cheaper price.
