Digimate 24" Monitor - What problems have you had with yours?

You must have got a RMA number to send to repairtech?

Just email DGM at [email protected] with your RMA number, and try and speak with ben.
Or speak direct to DGM customer support on 0208 839 2285

He sorted my troubles soon enough

Just rang them before refinding this via google. I'll try those other numbers, wouldn't be surpised if I end up at repairtech though.
Apparently their going to ring me back today (would be the first time) - as the guy I spoke to couldn't get all the info back I needed.

According to trading standards next step is to draft a letter with a deadline for redress, then after that it would have to be the small claims court.

Re: RMA# ... I originally phoned the number in the book that came with the DGM monitor for repairs, and repairtech gave me a # then collected it.

Wow, just phoned that DGM # and was shocked to have it answered promptly... the guy who answered it sounded a bit "wtf?" when I said it had been 4 months + is going to call me back by end of day tomorrow.

lol
my monitor was 3 years old when the screen just went black and had to be turned off and on again.

My monitor also spent 3-4 months at repair tech. Until i emailed that address WildGoose mentioned and was told the replacement part they were waiting for is obsolete and is not being produced anymore, offered crappy TN panel 23" But sent back to SUPPLIER (D*bs.com (worst support shop anywhere)) and they gave me a full refund, even after 3 years use. I'm surprised OcUK can't give a full refund.

they can, But they surely wont :d you see in OCUk's eyes all items past a year and nothing to do with them and if they are they will offer only a small percent of what you paid in refund

Got offerered the 23" and took it in the end (after using the direct #, cheers !)

I could wait another 2 months for a replacement 24" TFT, but I've had enough by now.
23" seems slightly more standard right now, so it should be easier to getting a matching one later.
Still, it's pretty poor in the end, I'm not going near DGM again after this.

Loads of green pixels all over the screen when cold. Improved once warmed up. Don't use it anymore and didn't bother with RMA as so few people seemed to get a reasonable outcome.

End to my story: The 23" monitor arrived today, can definitely notice the difference it's true what they say about an extra inch !

Had a vertical line running up mine, yellow in colour, sent to DGM or repairtech who do the repairs for them (whatever they're called) back in March 2010 and has been there since, fobbed off with the same thing everytime, waiting for a new panel to arrive, im really unhappy about it! wasted money and no monitor! had to buy another now, will never ever buy cheap rubbish again!!

Spoke to repairtech today after threatening with trading standards and telling repairtech how annoyed I am, they offered me a 19" hanton h-350, to which I declinded!

Does anyone have any idea what I could do to get my screen or money back? apart from taking it to small claims court.

I have a 24" VA panel, bought from Members' Market some time in 2008. It was about 6 months old at the time, probably bought in 2007. The panel is an AU-M24OUW01-VO.

Had a problem earlier this year where the display would intermittently flash. But having heard the horror stories about RMAs and also not having my receipt, I decided to just try and fix it or buy something new.

I took the monitor apart and examined the power supply. Couldn't find anything visibly wrong with it, so reassembled it minus one screw which I couldn't find a place for. (!)

To my utter disbelief, I fixed the problem. It's been going strong ever since. So the message is: if your DGM monitor breaks: take it apart and reassemble it without one of the screws.

Unbelievable!!!

:D

I bought mine in 2008 had no problems until a couple of months ago when it developed a permanent vertical green line on the left hand side of the monitor. I was reluctant to send it for repair but after a few weeks I got fed up of this line and arranged an RMA. As soon as I finished the phone call to DGM I turned the monitor on and the line had miraculously disappeared! It has been fine ever since :D

This sounds the same as what I had, when I tapped the bottom of the screen plastic lightly it would go away, then the next day it was back again :(

It's a shame reading this topic. At the time this monitor was providing unrivalled levels of quality for the money. If it's lasted a couple of years I'm sure you've got your monies worth already!
