Digital Content Delivery?

Anybody have any experience here and any reccomendations?

I'm looking for a solid system to implement into a website where a customer can purchase a PDF download.

I don't know of any off-the-shelf packages, as I've always built them myself.

If you've got any sort of coding knowledge it's a nice simple system to build.

Are you just looking to sell it? Looking for some ecommerce?

Or are you looking to protect it? Looking for some DRM?

I am just looking for a secure way to sell it.

Customer opens product page, clicks buy, pays, gets the secure one time download link.

But have no idea where to start, either with a package or something if they are available or with coding something from scratch. DRM isn't required.

There's some plugins on wordpress .. not sure how good they are.

A commercial one that quite a few people use is http://www.dlguard.com

I'm sure most of the e-commerce free setups support downloads...
