DimasTech Anti-Vandal Switches for your cases

that blue neon one looks funky... shame they can include these on high end cases...

some £100 cases still got those plasticy push buttons... these look "proper"

Anti vandal switches are a staple diet for Modders world wide.
Check out project angel by w3bbo in our project log section. Mountain mods cases look brilliant with these in.

It's also a cool way to relocate your power and reset buttons if required.

These fit on whatever case takes your fancy. Drill a hole and fit the switch, wire it up and it's good to go.

They are called anti vandal because this style of mechanism gets fitted to things like public lifts etc because they are durable and hard wearing.

Hope this helps ;)

Hi,
A bit of an odd question but can you tell me how wide the button is?
I just want to confirm it can slot in where the original button was :)

Thanks

I can vouch for these bad boys! They come standard on Parvum cases. The glow is very subtle yet very satisfying...

I actually don't understand what these are for/do :(

Neither do I...

they are a more attractive power switch that a lot of modders choose to use over the standard power buttons on their cases.

the reason you go for an anti vandal switch is that they are a lot more hard wearing and rugged than a standard plastic style cheap switch.

a lot of modders will use them as a switch for internal functions also such as fan controllers or case lighting.

These are just in case someone decides to break into your house in the middle of the night and take overwhelming dislike to your PC's power button :D

They look great. I'm tempted to pick one up and see if I can make it work with my FT03. Is there any plan to get these in black?

I have one of these (at least it looks similar) on a case I bought from a member a couple of years back, after my exam in 10mins I'll take pics :)

Don't think these would replace the big power button on my storm trooper case.

Never understood the point of them as I've never broke a standard plastic power button tbh.

these are for people who like to mod their cases, not have the normal things on them, those who spend a little more money to get the right details, the same people who braid their cables, get custom back plates, and overall just spend money on making things look how they want them.

Most modding websites have them on, they look really nice when they are done the right way and have a nice "feel" to them when ya push them also.

i might order one, but no idea what id use it for lol

i for one am glad they stock them, one less reason to go to a competitor!

Some cases do not come with switches so you can make the call on what switches you'd like to have...

I went with chrome with orange ring LED switches, look and feel fantastic.

As said above they are standard on Parvum cases - Inside and outside shots, they are a lot deeper that even high end pc case buttons.
From memory the 16 or 19mm dim is the hole needed for this switch - the front is 3mm larger, the fixing nut larger still
