DirectX 10

Windows Vista is releasing in the winter and they say you will need DirectX 10 to stay on top of the latest games. Like Halo 2 for example.

Maybe in your little world but not everyones. Nvidia were saying everyone needed SM3.0 when the 6xxx series were launched but in the real world next to nothing actually used it. Heck, even now not every game uses it.

I am not saying games wont work if you have DX9, I'm saying if you want to stay in tune and want the latest games running at high. etc then you will obviously need Windows Vista and a gfx card with DX10 aight'!
