i gotta say, your loss for not using vista.

i started a week ago, and i have been amazed. the search start bar is worth it.

and my games have got an extra 2-5FPS boots aswell. (seeing as i have a 6200LE, and most of the games i play run at about 10FPS, this makes the world of difference)

We are enthuasist we buy low end/cheap equipment and then overclock the nuts of it to play at high settings, so most of us will get vista to play in dx10 which will give extra effects, Yes they may not be much but we love eye candy.

That needed fixing to be honest.

I dual boot Vista and Xp and there was definitely a drop in performance, the only game i currently intend to install on vista is bioshock.

I'm in the same boat. DX9 games are generally better on XP.
