DirectX 12 Showcase New Features and Benefits of D3D12 API

So as someone who does not buy cards often.

Is buying a 780ti madness ahead of buying a 970 as the 780ti will have less DX12 features?

Yes and buying a card for dx12 right now is madness as well as we have ZERO games that support it not to mention dx12 has not even been released.

Sit tight, hold onto your cash and wait til end of the year before buying imho

Good advice SiDeards, i however have sold my 680 and pre-ordered my 780ti, but wondering if a few quid more on the 970 would be better value

Without saying who made what first, IMO as a vendor 4 years ago i would be trying to build the best card possible for the api out then, not worrying about making sure that card had support for a API four years away as new cards would be out then.
Would it be fair to say the majority of us upgrade gpu's within four years?

PS mantle was simply a copy of sony's api :p
