DiRT 3 now upgraded on steam no GFWL !

Has anyone managed to fix the problem of the FFB pulling to the right constantly? five of us were playing today and we all had the same problem with various wheels. the only solution was to turn the FFB so low that it was barely there at all
 
Does anyone know where I can get profiles for the Logitech Profiler please? (I'm using the Driving Force Pro).

I expect that you would wan't the same settings as most modern games.
- Overall effects: 100%
- spring and damper strength: 0%
- do not enable centring spring
- centring spring strength: doesn't matter because its disabled
- do not report combined pedals
- degrees of rotation: 900 (or whatever you prefer)
- do not allow game to adjust settings

I turned everything (strength/vibration etc) in the in-game menu's to 0% when my daughter was having a play with it (She's almost five... it was amusing as she did quite well for having never used a wheel or played a car game).... and it was significantly more satisfying to drive. Before it felt like I was fighting the wheel and not the car... so clearly I need to do a lot of tweaking to where it feels natural for me.
 
Excellent news, was thinking on getting this earlier but the reviews were so bad, with GFWL etc, I bought it and I am very happy with the game, looks great, cars handle well tith 360 controller, classic rally
 
just got this, never did play it much the first time round.

i'm trying to find some graphics mods but they are really hard to find anywhere.
got the heavy rain mod but can't for the life of me find the heavy snow mod or the dx11 everything ultra mod - any ideas?

Don't forget that the FFB is totally broken at the moment, as per mine and DG's posts, so if you're fighting the wheel (particularly if you're fighting the wheel wanting to turn right all the time) then its probably the broken FFB you're fighting. hopefully they will patch it soon
 
What have they done to this game?...

First off you can't mute your own mic in game. There is just no option. Secondly, i don't know what they have done to the control system but it feels awful and no amount of tweaking the settings seems to help (I'm using an official Xbox 360 wired controller). I do have a Logitech DFGT but unless i want it broken i don't play Dirt games with it. It is just to twitchy of a game for that. Infact there seems to be quite a few settings missing from the game now.

I'll stick to Grid Autosport. At least that feels natural on the wheel. Oh well i tried Dirt 3 again and now it will go back in the steam cupboard to forever gather dust :rolleyes:

haha i played quite a bit last night just applied counter to balance :p got some really good times.should be fixed this week i think.
 
My G27 wheel pulls to the right in this too, the old gfwl verison as fine. Shame but should be a simple fix. Got to say this is a lot of fun for a quick blast when I want a break from more serious sims like AC.
 
there has been a Dirt 3 challenge on today for beating a real life rally driver on Monaco track Col St Roch his time is 2:59.946. must be in Peugeot 205 T16

i had a quick go beat his time on steering wheel :D after few laps i did 2:59.945 ! :p
