Run's perfect for me mate - you would really like this game. Very similar dueling wise to Tribes. Tribes is of cause much more complex but still it's a lot of fun.

Wasn't so much how it ran, but how badly it broke the game balancing.
In what way? Defending did seem easier last night but to be honest if you're team is not organised you're going to get ROFL stomped - I.e., when you're playing against Joe and his esports ring-in

Amazing upgrade, so easy, I'm now rocking Windows 10, all done in under 320 minutes. Everything seems to be working a treat, very very happy.

Yeah. Don't click Fresh Install like I did otherwise you'll be left with a copy of W10 that isn't activated...

Apparantly he is invisible and whilst invisible is also immune to damage? I read he has one of the best SMG's in the game and a melee that just about 1 hits everthing from any angle.
Also been reading how the anti-cheat system is supposedly very invasive and scans a lot of your files and history yet there does not seem to be any bans in game for cheating........ (possible data mining hidden behind anti-cheat?).
Also read there is tons of cheating in this game......

yes its now been patched,and ive seen a huge drop in people using phantoms.

thats all i have hope this helps though,obviously your playstyle and the weapons u like to use also come into this.
I'm seriously considering buying the starter pack if I'm going to play much more of this. Learning how to use the classes and effective use of their perks seems to be key to this game. Getting a starter pack will give me some more class opportunities to play with.
I am going to wait a while before putting windows 10 on, too many people reporting gpu driver and game issues...
Also, I need to decide what I am doing about cpu & mobo as if I do get some new stuff, I cba doing 2 fresh window installs in the space of a couple of months
Win10 will have to wait at least 6 months before I install it. My system works at the moment, and the last thing I want to do is end up with a system I can't game on.
Also I'm starting to get too short of SSD space on my primary and steam drives, so I thjnk I'll probably move to a new system SSD and a clean win 8.1 install before upgrading (Or even a clean win10 install if that is possible).
A DX12 game worth playing would be the driver for me to upgrade.

i did everything bar putting fov to 100% as i tried it and preferred 65% however i do flit between the two as im still figuring which i prefer and i left all graphics setting on max as my fps is fine and i like eye candy! haha.

How much is this starter pack? TBH I would have happily bought the game anyway, the fact that it is f2p is very good.
I'm leaving WIN10 on my system for a while, like Haz mine is working fine atm. Going to do it on my sons PC when I get home, does it do a fresh install itself then? Only he has a 120GB SSD which I don't want 2 OS's on.

i would wait till monday if i was you,due to all mercs being free this weekend from friday till sunday/monday.
atleast then u can play all the mercs and see if u like the ones u get in the starter pack and also giving you an idea of the mercs u would like to buy.
It's ~£22 IIRC.
I was hoping that I'd be able to grind/ pay with ingame cash anything I wanted after the starter pack. I feel that if I am going to play this a lot, the devs should benefit, and the starter pack would be a sensible way of doing that and getting a few extra toys to play with, but I'm not going to go down the pay for everything route!

I won't be paying for that, the game is good and fun but personally I don't like paying to unlock stuff, I was enjoying the game with just the default loadout.
Same here, zero room on my 250gb game ssd and I only have 6 games installed on it (4 of which I can't uninstall and they are the biggest ones

I think the only worth while game coming out with dx 12 is battlefront although there are rumours that GTA 5 and BF 4 will get a dx 12 upgrade....

He got nerfed and wasn't too OP anyway. People including me just knee jerked but all his changes are now balanced, the only hting thew screwed up is making it so that when you meleee your turn speed is limited which is crazy stupid.
so far ive spent nothing and have bought a merc and 3 loadout cards whilst also doing some loadout card trade ups(the biggest waste of in game currency and is just pot luck if u get the card u want, 8 cards in each tier and choosen at random,best to buy the load out cards u want then if u want use the card levelling system to get the silvers,golds and i believe u can craft obsidian now too to get the loadout u want in higher levels however this is expensive and will soon eat up your cards and credits,however i think its pointless and i see very little difference in game(i know they only have asthetic changes).
ive got over 10 bronze cards,2-3 silvers,and a fair few iron and lead.
top tip concentrate on the missions u get given they increase your credits dramactically and are fairly quick and easy complete.
