they are but they are game engine based. so cheaters in other games can still play. thing is when someone has 4 vac bans you know 99 percent they are a dirty ****

Unless they have changed their policy, 3rd party games cannot prevent vac banned players from playing. Darks souls got in a lot of trouble for this.

And Russians can now play the game as of 3 days ago.

I think I read somewhere that they are coding the anti cheat to detect impossible damage and instantly kick/ban for it.

Perhaps let it expire after a while I guess. It should be a global multiplayer ban for at least a year though.

It's hard to have any sympathy for people that have used bots/hacks/whatever.
