Iv'e got a 4850 and I have ordered a new PC for it to fit into. Because I already have a card waiting I have just brought a PC that has onboard graphics.

Should I install the card before I disable the onboard graphics or disable the onboard graphics first or does it not matter either way?

Put the card in the machine. Boot it up and go directly to BIOS. Chage to the 4850 and then get the drivers on. I hoe you enjoy your new monster ;).

Ahh thats what I was going to say. Shop built PC's normally only use low power PSUs. That 350w would not be enough to power the system + card. But I see you have purchased the 600w so you should be good to go :)
