Tried that nothing works, I know in order to change the timings of the ram you have to select expert option in another part of the bios so I think there must be a setting like that somewhere.

you only really need to up the vtt when more than 8gb of memory is used,auto should be fine with 8gb

Go to the Intel website and download the Intel Processor Diagnostic Tool. It takes approximately 5 minutes to run and should give you a better idea on the health of the CPU.
I started getting a lot of BSODs when browsing watching flash/youtube videos and it is to do with AMD's newer drivers.
Try rolling back to maybe 13.9. I'm on 14.4 and still get the odd issue but its mostly ok but someone said 13.9 were rock solid. Pain if your playing the latest games though.
I was just the same as you thinking it was all sorts of stuff.
Can't hurt to try.
