disaster !!!

Well i used the old 300w psu out my old machine and it didnt power up but that may be because its only 300 ?

Would it be sensible to assume as it was the psu i damaged it would be a good idea to order a new psu and try it then if it doesnt power up rma the board ?
 
If you tried even a low powered PSU it should still boot your system with minimal stuff attached to it, it wouldn't draw that much power. If I was you I would set up an RMA on your motherboard.
