Discord for comms - somebody please translate?

He could talk through the discord app on his phone I suppose, not sure how good/bad he would sound though.

Aye never really thought about that but then I doubt he would hear us clearly. He mentioned trying something called xbox party chat which is built into Win 10 so will give that a crack.

you can't use a phone as a mic for discord, it's not practical.

you can't do push to talk and game at the same time with a phone and people will just find it annoying if they can hear every mouse and keyboard sound from you

Discord has pretty good ambient noise filters. If they're as good as those on WhatsApp, and they should be, then there should be no issue with using Bluetooth buds. I'd still recommend a headset, though.
