Ok so one of my internal drives has started acting up. I copied some files onto in and now trying to take them back off. It's a 500GB WD drive and I've had no problems before.
When I try to copy the files off the transfer just freezes after a few seconds. Having no problem moving files on any other drives. It only seemed to freeze with certain random files and if I left it long enough it did manage to do it, but I'm talking hours. Always the same files too.
I started to run disk check on the drive 7 hours ago and it's still going (status bar at about 10% only), currently says 279 files processed and has done for the last 2 hours.
What should I do? Should I cancel it or let it continue?
