Disk write errors on Steam and other applications.

I have a 4 year old 1tb WD Blue SSD that continues to come up with errors as noted above. I have ran S.M.A.R.T and Crystal Disk Info with no errors. I have formatted, checked for errors and optimised with no issues.

However, the hard drive continues giving me these errors.

Short of changing the SATA cable I have done everything I can think of.

The hard drive is coming back on Crystal Disk Info with a Good rating and 95% health. I use it as a storage drive for games. Any ideas please?

Yes, do that.

Do WD have the own drive application? Probably best to use that to diagnose the drive if they do.

Thanks, I have downloaded the official WD SSD health checker, its completely fine. It asked me to update the firmare on the SSD. That's it. I still have the same problem.

It won't be an issue due to my operating system being on another drive will it?
