"the Hebrew"?

Oops :p

The girlfriend did a 5000 word essay on 'Disney's secret life' and what he was really like and Disney did actually fire someone just because he was a hebrew. But if you were communist then you were finished, but then if he 'thought' you were a communist you were still finished.

Do you know when that was posted? Toy Story 3 was already in production and it had nothing to do with Pixar. It was being done by Disney's CG department against Pixars wishes, part of why they fell out in the first place. Although the recent buy-out may have changed things and the only way Pixar agreed to the deal would be if Disney dispose of thier CG department.

In my opinion Toy Story 3 would have killed Disney. No one was willing to Direct it and most people from the animation industry agreed that it should never be made. Rumours were that Tom Hanks did'nt want to do the voice of woody anymore. This was also said about many of the other voice artists.

Yep does appear to have officially been canned. Thank God!
Although not completely ruled out in the future:

According to John Lasseter, if the film is ever made it’ll only be done with the blessing of the original films creators and even then only if there’s a story that demands it. In other words, as long as Lasseter is in charge, expect an end to Disney’s practice of shuffling out sub-standard sequels to their classic films as a way to generate new revenue streams.
