I find this amusing...

Talks about "people struggling to cope" then edits his own post as he self proclaims it's likely to get him a suspension.

Cognitive dissonance you say? Well you certainly made my day.

This lasted long too:

Also I am out of this thread because I am not a pale unhealthy individual with no life apart from sitting at a computer, I have a garden to do and surfing to be done .
Enjoy your bikering lol

"Bikering" lol

animal care aside - the cost of his 500g of daily beef 36Tonnes of carbon a year ... and a transatlantic flight 2 tonnes

The issue seems to be that, because some Vegans believe that a vegan diet is better for the environment than a diet which also contains meat, they have trouble realising that veganism is still very bad for the environment and living creatures.

Instead of just accepting the sole fact that Vegan diets are ALSO bad for the environment and living creatures, they hide behind whataboutism and a perceived moral high ground by bringing meat diets into the argument in an attempt to pivot the argument to another group and away from their lifestyle choices.

Cognitive dissonance? That's the phrase meat eaters have been hit with isn't it?
Only crackpot sources will put veganism as worse for the environment so this is just your poor education.
Glad I have given you the cognitive dissonance phrase to Google, add it to your vocabulary, how is the idiots guide to the environment going ? Reached its target audience at least

That awkward moment when you're banging on about others' "poor education" but can't write a single post correctly.

Honestly mate just give up, I'm not sure you can fit any more balls in your own goal.

just 2 small things, the article talks about 100g of PROTEIN, not meat, plus it notes that;
They found large differences in environmental impact between producers of the same product. High-impact beef producers create 105kg of CO2 equivalents and use 370m2 of land per 100 grams of protein, 50 times greater than low-impact beef producers.

As discussed, I only buy local grass fed beef, so divide it by 50 and then to get from a 100g of protein figure to 100g of meat would be divide by another 4

I also never said I eat 500g of BEEF every day, I said meat, I raise chickens and ducks and have zero food miles on them

its way less than a car, which I don't have, so I'm still way ahead of all the hypocrite car driving vegans

do you guys actually bother reading your own propaganda before you try quoting it, its pretty sad

A whole cow produces 1475kg of co2 equivalent, and as previously discussed a whole cow would last me well over 2 years even if I *did* eat beef every day.
