Just a under educated fool, clearly the pain was correctly understood by doctors, and not him, so he is a total idiot and didnt do his research, I have zero sympathy for him.

Great grand dad had what I think they call a quick or wick (can't remember the term) on his finger. He was a butcher and had enough of the pain so cut the end of his finger off. Some people just have had enough of the pain.
