He really is though, he's like the lesser of the evils. Most of his songs seem to be about getting out of estates and dreaming/saving/working hard. He's not very eloquent, but he's not so bad imo.

I don't know, maybe due to the fact that he was on the BBC being interviewed about what is being described as one of the most pivotal events in World history. His poor literacy aside, he didn't even seem to know much about Obama apart from the fact that he was black, had spoken to some 'rappers' during his campaign and had won the race.
 
he gave a decent interview and got his point across fine

was better than most the stumbling, muttering fools they get on there. who when they finally think of something to say just spout negative rubbish

seems to me like you where just judging him on the way he looks and his accent/slang

Not really,

All this proves (If we lower this discussion purely to race as you have done) is that black people vote for black people and white people vote for the candidate they think will run the country well.

While I do agree it is likely that many black people voted because he is black, I am sure many also voted because he is the better option.

But we cannot be sure, by the same logic why didn't a female win, all the women would suerly have voted for her just because she is a woman?
 
I forgot my simple rule of not being dragged in to discussion with the uneducated.. sorry, ill leave the thread now.
 
I think what he means is that hip hop has played an important part in the popularity of black people. Before Rap and Hip hop there were not that many black celebrities and such.


Are some people just stupid or are you purposefully trying to misunderstand. It seems rather obvious to me.
