£2200 for my one specifically
But I won't be selling, because I am not a spoon!

It's all crap price wise but the faithful disciples of GPU hardware and all that is Holy in the church of Mr Huang realised years ago that the more you buy the more you save! How convenient after the huge price increase?
RTX5070 is now over £600. The RTX5050 is now almost £300 and the RTX5060 is over £300. The RTX5060TI 8GB is almost £400!!! The relaunched RTX3060 costs £300 to £350. Even AMD who were holding good prices until a month ago have also given up.
That joins the £300+ DDR5 kits and £200 2TB mediocre QLC SSDs with no DRAM.
I was looking at some budget pre-builts - last year you could eek out a basic Ryzen 5 7600 and an RTX5070 system for £900. Now you are lucky to get a Ryzen 5 5500 and RTX5060/RTX5060TI for the same price.
I saw an RTX5080 for around £1000 a few days ago. Could have sold it,pocketed a grand and probably because the RTX6080 will be £2000,you could have sold it for a profit in 2028.

Going by what NVIDIA said and did - not an issue at all for AMD, really. It doesn't seem like NVIDIA wants it widespread: no filter in the app, only 5k series supported officially in games (modding community is absolutely miniscule in comparison to number of actual gamers, so not even worth mentioning!), you need upscaling and FG (x6 preferably, which causes whole load of issues by itself in many games) and a lot of people simply do not like this, plus judging by what various devs posted recently online, plenty of them neither likes it nor wants to use it either in their games. Time will tell, but it doesn't seem to be a "killer" thing for current GPUs, maybe it will take in the future, but we're likely YEARS away from it. DLSS also didn't really take for a while, neither did RT/PT (still miniscule adoption really, in real numbers, not the imaginary ones).DLSS 5 is a real headache for AMD. They are already behind on performance and now another "The way it's meant to be played" card from Nvidia.
I was considering cashing in on the crazy 5090 prices and getting a 9070xt but not now.
They need to get RDNA 5 out quick with a massive lead to counter
I hate DLSS upscaling and love native (never use DLSS or FG) but DLSS5 with neural thingy whatsit does genuinely look amazing. I'm in and while the first iteration did look pants I can see that everyone will want this very soon.Going by what NVIDIA said and did - not an issue at all for AMD, really. I think if people want to see super realistic graphics, they should just go and watch a film or two in the cinema.I hate DLSS upscaling and love native (never use DLSS or FG) but DLSS5 with neural thingy whatsit does genuinely look amazing.
Games never have been about realism; that's just some miniscule number of titles out there. Though I do have to say ONE game definitely looks better with it than without - Indiana Jones, which even with PT on had HORRIFYING faces in the game, so so bad. Though and that has been proclaimed by some people or over the internet as amazingly good quality, back then.
I have downloaded the swapper then looked at what I have currently installed... and found ZERO application for it, even just for testing. All AA/indie games, some with pixel or comic-style graphics, RTS/strategy games etc. Just none of them need it at all. And to the bin it went for now.I'm in and while the first iteration did look pants I can see that everyone will want this very soon.

The director of Kingdom Come Deliverance 1+2 loves it and said it's far closer to the artists intent, Just needs tweaking slightly to reduce the yass queen factor. Seen similar comments by devs from other studios too.

Someone even manged to get DLSS 5 working on AMD GPU's

"You did remember to write the bit of code we talked about?
If GPU = Not Nvidia then program no worky
Right?"
Interesting as it runs on tensor cores on RTX cards so I wonder what it's running on on the AMD side, whatever it is the performance hit is even worse - the 9070xt goes from 90fps to 10fps, a 90% performance loss
So yes it "runs" but it's completely unusable for any amd gpu at this stage as you can't play games at 10fps, that's even worse than the RTX5050 gets
