DLSS 5 preview

There's an obscure WiP build on Nexus that's starting to get upscaling to work on the neural rendering pipeline too. It's based off Krish's build on the Discord - I tested it in Ass Creed Black Flag Resynced (as this game was good with Krish's latest I found) - and it only bloody works! I found DLSS must be on Quality in game. No softness or lack of clarity like in the Optiscaler resolution hack. Gained about 20fps as would expect with DLSS quality vs 'native'.

The modders will end up making DLSS 5 work, look, and run better than Nvidia - guarantee it.

Just tried this out myself, the performance boost is fantastic.

Going to try this now.

*EDIT* Just crashes on startup . Seems other have the same problem in the comments.

*EDIT 2* Seems to just crash on UE5 games.
I've only tried it in CP2077 so far and it works great. Did you delete your old addon.64 file before using this?

I just tried that in Resonance Plague Tale, a nice performance boost from a quick test. I did spot an issue with a ghosting shadow (turning camera while looking down), but perhaps that's because it's based on an older Krish build - the issue doesn't happen in v6.5 of the main one.

It crashes RE9 for me though.

Yeah it's early days for this chaps and will be hit or miss on a per game basis for now - but the fact someone has got NR upscaling partly working already is amazing!

What we need is Shortfuse (the main RenoDX HDR guy) to test and build it into his release. He seems to be taking a slower methodical approach now and getting things working before just releasing stuff willy nilly.

@megalomaniac when you say doesn't happen in v6.5 of the main one what do you mean? v6.5 of what? (Krish build stopped at 4.7, Shortfuse isn't numbering them....)

First burnt connecters because of the increased power draw:

Probably a good idea to power limit cards a bit when testing this!

Wonder what it would be like in a game like the latest doom or something horror related lol, bet the monsters etc could look pretty cool. Also if this ever can get to vr it will be erm interesting.
