DnB thread!

Can anyone do me a bit of a favour? Continuing from my post last night, I've been doing a fair bit of work on a track I started a while back (I've pretty much redone the entire intro), however I'm at a bit of a loss as to where to go with it. If anyone can give me a little tip or pointer in any direction I would greatly appreciate it :D

DRS new album is amazing!
SPY .. thought is was good then had another listen and now Im just thinking its average. Love SPY, his sets are amazing, I just dont know if his actual work is...still I got another Hospital signed cd so cant complain.

I have a video camera running, and record the mix live on Traktor as well. Then just mute the video and align the recorded set with it in Windows Movie Maker (lol) and sorted :)

I'll try and have some video up after my set at Cable tonight. I'll be recording it on Traktor as well anyway. Going to be huge :D

YES! Big respect for posting something by Konichi. Posted a couple tunes by him on the previous pages before but no-one seemed to of clocked on.

His style for me is insane, as you said he's got that jump-up vibe but with extra stink to it haha.

Might wanna check out 'Annix' too, it's a collaboration between Decimal Bass & Konichi. They run a sweet label too; Hangar Recordings - might be worth checking out the FB page or whatever!

Konichi used to produce under the alias 'Meddler', same vibes pretty much albeit it a little more grotty haha.

I just gave Annix a listen, there are a few good mini sets on his SC. Can deffo here the Konichi tunes coming in.

I know he is already getting famous, but there is more potential in him. Hope he keeps his own style and doesn't go too Playaz with it. Seems he has some things coming out on them, and with Hype and Hazzard there his style may change...we will see. Still fresh though!

Might aswell put up another tune too, something for you old school heads. Love it lots.

Guys, I need a hand.

I'm looking for a track to play on saturday. The only problem is, I can't seem to find it anywhere.

It's a drumstep/heavy dnb style track, with some dark hip-hop vocals, and a really memorable sample "RECHECK" or very similar repeated. The only time I've actually heard it was Marcus Intalex, Break and Wilkinson playing it at Cable, way back on the 6th May (Faster).

It's an absolute tune, and if I can get hold of it I'll be very grateful. Thanks :)

Takes me back to huge illegal a few years ago:

Somewhere between 6,000 - 8,000 people under the M6 Thelwall Viaduct bridge. We got there around 1am (getting a life in the back of an old van :D ), when we got there there must have been arond 15 police cars/vans there but they didn't do anything. We ended up leaving at 10am, happy times:
