Hmm.havent seen this thread before...being a complete LDnB junkie for many years..here is some of my favourtites.

Tasty tune, some nice tunes all in all in here lately! Liking the Telmo A tune above.

Shows dubstep just won't stand the test of time in the same way as DnB. And I was a massive dubstep fan for a while.

Think I'll have to start getting to know who's who in DnB again, been a good decade since I last really followed it properly bar listening to random tunes.

How does it? You need to listen to more different styles, lol at me all you like but there are some great new variations of dubstep coming out :)

I'm really not sure how you can connect that to dnb :p
 
I download loads of live sets or radio shows to see whats about and nothing is lighting my fire as it would have done a couple of years ago really.

I dunno, liquid DnB for example is just a timeless sound it seems. All this screechy skrillex-esque step is poor.

Much better stripped back to basics as it once was. But music will always be an each to their own entity :)
 
Ah, I meant dubstep as a whole :) when you have people like SBTRKT, Skream and the like, bringing innovation to the scene constantly, you can see there's so much variation to come.

I forgot Culprate in that list. Man is an absolute genius.

Edit: And Jayglo. A bit more generic, but the very specific style of mastering that he employs is stunning.

totally agree..that stuff came from DnB ..but its not Dnb. Also..all that new high energy Dnb which doesnt have any drums or bass in it...hate it. Actually like some dubstep stuff...but in a different way.

This tune blew me away 1st time I heard it...listening to a Random Movement podcast in the gym...fulll blast with headphones on...the break is incredicable
