reported for what, am i not allowed an opinion and it would stop the cat grieving?

delete the bloody post, next time someone says kick it in the overies u should all stomp on them aswell

I'm absolutely gutted for you mate. I'm unbelievably close to my cats I would be shattered if I lost one.

He looks like mine as well.

Cat's will have a small sense of grieving but they would not fully understand where or what has happened.

we all have our own oppinions, i have 3 cats, i did have more but they went and never returned, when they went missing, my other cats did start being bit more of attention seekers probably due to the fact they have 1 less friend to play with. keep your other cat comforted so he feels safe, it will help him get back to the way he was./

It is funny.. its not like hes really going to do it :rolleyes:
Aye it is funny... As toothache.

I hate to generalise but I've noticed people in GD often laugh at the most stupid things, like when there was that thread about the old woman being beaten up and pee'd on by drunken idiots.

I'm not talking about whether he'd do or not do it. I'm saying it's hardly the time for comments like it, and I'm sure the OP doesn't appreciate it.

An old woman being assaulted and a cat getting run over are worlds apart tbh.

Maybe so, but both mean a lot to some people. Therefore, insensitive comments are not needed.

I know this, I was just citing an example of the stupid things GD seems to find funny.

Do you personally happen to find someone's cat being run over funny? Or any animal for that matter?

Did you pull the legs off frogs as a child?

I'd say the cat would feel some sense of loneliness, but grieving? i've had a dog give birth to 6 pups, two died within a 4 days and she did'nt bat an eyelid when i removed them. I think people overrate animal intelligence. I love dogs to bits and think they are smart but i don't go overboard, and so what if some guy made a joke? its no reason to report him.

Maybe the grieving is due to the cats being together for a long period of time. Surely, suddenly being separated like that must have an effect.

Why would I find a cat being run over funny? I don't like any harm to come to animals even though I hate cats at the best of times. I sympathise with the OP in losing a pet...albeit a cat.

All animals grieve ,they are no different to humans thats why I don't eat them !

The saddest thing I ever saw was a cow with with tears running from its eyes as its dead new born calf lay next to her with a rope around its neck :(
