Do Nando's serve spirits?

So I'm planning on going to a Nando's with some mates soon, I've never been to one before and can't tell whether they serve any alcohol other than fermented crap like beer and wine. Anyone know? If not, it's going to be hipflask time.

"Fermented crap" like every spirit?!?! If you're going to try and take some imaginary superior position because you don't like beer and wine, at least take some time to understand what your big, clever drink is... :p

It's Nandos, surely you're not in there for more than about 45 minutes tops anyway?
Just get your chicken, side, beer, some olives maybe, chat whilst stuffing your face, then head out to do whatever you're actually out to do.

Beer makes you bloaty. Spirits only - I'm with the OP.

But OP may have somewhat too high expectations of Nandos. They're less a restaurant and more a sit-in take away. So short answer - take your hip flash. You get to drink what you want and you look like a proper gent. Win-win. :)

Who even mentioned drinking vodka neat? Order a coke and add your own vodka. Some people don't like wine or beer. Oh and because you want a spirit with your meal makes you an alchy?

I think its more the statement that OP requires to bust out a hip flask if Nandos wont indulge his requirements for spirits for the half hour it takes to order and eat there.

No, they're blatantly biased against non-corporeal beings.

I agree, I am trying to cut the beer/cider so I am mainly just drinking spirits now for a while. Doesn't make me an alchy, just wanted a change

This, 30-40 minutes in Nando's and you can't do without the hip flask, order a soft drink (it would only be 1 drink surely) and then hit the 'top shelf' in the next bar you go to.

I went into Gregs this morning to get a bacon roll for breakfast and was shocked that they had no vodka to wash it down with. How am I meant to get a good start to the day with this ridiculousness?

I agree with everyone else here, to be honest. I've never spent more than 45m in a nandos... surely just a drink of coke or something if you want to avoid the wine/beer will suffice.

Then again, I think my friends will take the mick if I bring out a hipflask.

Who puts this much thought into a trip to Nando's? It's like asking if Pizza Hutt or McDonalds serve something particular: Just turn up and pick from what's on offer. If you want to hit the spirits, go somewhere for adults.

And taking a hip flask to Nandos... Yea, stay classy.
Missing the point that Nando's isn't really aimed at classy people. Besides which, hip flasks are normally favoured by the upper classes if anything.

Not sure why this is such a huge deal. I did way stupider things in my student days.

Yes for a day at the races or whatever... Not a fast food joint!
